Support Operations

Laboratory Facility, Operation Centers and Logistics

Detailed operational and logistical support strategies are critical to the mission success of any organization.  This statement is particularly true when operating in forward deployed high-risk austere environments.

Laboratories and Exploitation Analysis Centers

Technical collectors, scientists, and analysts now regularly work in high-risk forward deployed areas of operation with minimal infrastructure and communication support.  To support emerging requirements worldwide, GSR provides a rapidly deployable laboratory capability as a means of facilitating analytical, intelligence, forensic, and operations functions, while providing appropriate force protection measures against direct fire, indirect fire, and blast factors.  Our team fully understands the intricacies of planning, designing, building, implementing, and operating complex and complicated laboratory operations working across, and with, multiple communities of interest in creating enduring capabilities.  We frame the doctrine, processes, procedures, and training to ensure that safe and quality forensic analysis is performed, while supporting and enhancing DoD and other community of interest requirements.

Logistical Support

The phrase “men are more important than hardware” is a constant.  However, men can only do so much without the necessary supplies on hand, and logistics infrastructure, to support a protracted effort.  For many organizations planning and executing seventy C-17 aircraft sorties of mission critical equipment from a CONUS based airfield to a point of debarkation, then cross-country movement and security of goods, to an austere location in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq would be daunting.  GSR has significant experience and capabilities to support complex logistics and security operations in high-risk or austere environments.
